When my husband and I got married 12 years ago, we didn’t have any bed foam or latex mattress. We only used an organic mat called “banig” as a covering on our bed. So sleeping was kind of literally “hard” for us. Then when our first baby came, we have decided that we should save up to buy a foam mattress or better yet a memory foam mattress! But since money was tough during our first years of marriage, we decided on buying a cheap bed foam and that didn’t lasted for years especially when our baby peed more on it than the times she slept peacefully using it.
Over the years, we continually kept buying foam mattresses that are cheap and as expected, we were continually disappointed. Around the year 2008, my older sister sold her latex mattress to me and we used it for a few months only because my family and I went back to Bacolod again. And while we were there, I was thinking of getting a memory foam mattress but then again, we lacked budget because I got pregnant to our third child.
Luckily, when December 2009 arrived, I was so happy because finally my husband bought me a bed close enough to a latex mattress or to a memory foam mattress. It was the closest thing we could afford at that time – a DewFoam mattress! Anyway, until now, I am still using the bed he bought me back then and I still consider it as the most comfortable bed I ever slept on since we got married! Well, I slept in many good beds like the ones in hotels but this one better because it’s ours!
